The toughest thing about coming to Amnicon is deciding which trip to take!<br> <br> From the thrilling whitewater of the Brule River and the rugged beauty of the Sawtooth Mountains to the majestic vastness of Lake Superior, the wild scenery of the Namekagon River, or the peaceful serenity of the Amnicon base camp  Amnicon prides itself on being one of a very few Lutheran camps providing such diverse and specialized high adventure tripping programs.<br> <br> Being part of an Amnicon adventure is more than just taking a camping trip. It is an intense 24-hour-a-day way of life where you learn new skills while living together in Christian fellowship. Each Amnicon trip will have one or two guides/counselors who will teach you all the needed safety and wilderness skills and also lead a program for the week. A theme unifies each trip with activities that include stories, games, campfires, discussions, history, prayer and worship.
